Great place for when you want a fresh salad or bowl! I had the sweet potato quinoa bowl with chicken and it was filling and delicious. Staff was also very friendly and sitting areas are nice!
As customer service goes... Butterhead is tops. They aim to please. Try the croissant they are the best I’ve had. Salad made fresh the way you want it. They have soups. I like the lobster bisque but I heard the vegetable soup and the squash is also good. You can call in your order but you will have to pick it up. It’s worth the trip tho
Where in the Hudson Valley is Barbara Martinez? Butterhead Salad Company in Downtown Beacon. Perfect day to check them out. Honestly the choices are so overwhelming because they have absolutely everything. It’s a salad lovers paradise. But they also offer Quinoa Bowls and Rice bowls and Froyo even cookies. I kept it simple and tried their special of the day called “Simple Shrimp” which was far from simple. It had your greens, black beans, corn, avocado, cilantro mango salad, red onions, tomatoes, cucumber and a bunch of other things I’m sure I’m missing. I switched out the shrimp for chicken, which was not a problem. The price was 18 which may sound high but there was enough for two. Taking them home for a second round. It’s giant and delicious. Sit in, Sit outside or Take out. Great vibe and great food. Check them out.

What a great find! Ingredients for the build your own salad feature are FRESH & delicious. Great variety & portion size is GREAT. You can visit multiple times a week & never run out of options to mix & match ingredients. 6 of their salad dressings are homemade - I suggest the Simply Lemon. The owner is a delight & very welcoming. Eating here FEELS good for the mind, body & soul!
We each had a wrap and chips and a drink and our wraps were colorful, fresh, healthy and delicious. I got the spinach and feta with a tomato basil wrap and my friend got a falafel spinach wrap. Highly recommend this place for lunch.
I've never physically been in the restaurant, even though I should since it's so close to where I live, but we have them catered at my job for lunch and the food (and presentation) is amazing! The meatballs and chicken are my favorites and the salads are very good as well. The owner is also super sweet.
Today, on Thursday, April 25th, 2024, my friend had a Cobb Salad and I had a Mediterranean Salad with grilled chicken (for an extra charge). I also had a freshly brewed large coffee. Their greens looked and tasted like they freshly picked from a garden! I recommend that you come early when they open at 11:30 AM as they fill up very quickly (they are a small quaint restaurant), and their phone becomes busy with call-in orders. I was so impressed that I bought my friend a gift card so that he and his girlfriend could enjoy Butterhead Salad Company for themselves!
